Tour Blog The Second...
So we're back home! But the best part is we STILL have a bunch of shows coming up!
We'd like to say a huge thanks to the guys in The Swellers who are now not only the victims of a severe beating in beach football but also our good good friends. We had a blast on tour with you guys! Can't wait to take over the United States together one day soon and Western Canada. Another huge thanks goes out to all those that came out, rocked out and hung out with us at all the shows. You all rock so much! And of course to those who lent us your floor/couch/bed/shower house the list goes on. You all are amazing.
Since Jonathan in the Swellers tour blogs are way better make sure to check out Part B of his Canadian tour blog.
Lots of great things coming up! Hope to see everyone at all the shows. Summer is so close!

Tour Blog from Ian.
Hey everyone. Just a quick update on how things are going on tour with us. So far all the shows have been amazing! We're stoked to say that us and the Swellers have become brothers by rock and roll. Never met a better bunch of dudes in my life. Our guitar player/brother Dean booked one hell of a tour. Thanks Deano.
Sorry to Pictou and to Bridgewater N.S. things happened that we're beyond our control and unfortunately shows were cancelled. We went to the beach today with the Swellers and beat them in touch foot/sandball.
Tomorrow we start heading back west towards Ontario, our home. Can't wait to see all of you in all the cities we have left on tour. For a more detailed tour blog check out Jonathan (Sweller) Diener's tour blog HERE. His has nice pictures and all that good stuff.

OUR KICK OFF IN TORONTO MAY 29TH! Okay, so sometimes when you take on a huge task like booking an entire Eastern Canadian Tour D.I.Y. there are bound to be small (very little) problems like shows moving around, promoters making last minute changes etc, etc, etc... But with every action there is an equal reaction and we are so stoked to announce...
THE OFFICIAL TOUR KICK-OFF SHOW IN TORONTO - THURSDAY, MAY 29TH! Presented in part by Truth Explosion and Punk Radio Cast: The Artist Life and The Swellers at Clinton's Tavern! w/ friends The Little Millionaires and The New Enemy. $7 doors at 9pm, 19+.
So you might as well cancel your prior plans, call in sick to work on friday and come out and celebrate with us. Don't forget to bring a friend and your best pair of dancing shoes.

So was anyone else suffering from severe winter blahs this year? It seemed liked this cold season was going to last forever. Well, finally the sun has started to shine, the streets are getting warmer and we're all putting away our parkas in exchange for our hoodies. On that note, it's been a while since we've updated all of you on what's been going on at The Artist Life camp. It's been a crazy new year so far for us with Much Music adding our very first video "waiting room" to medium rotation on Much LOUD and Edge 102 giving us the Young Jedi award for best up and coming band of 2008 at the very first F.U. Awards. So to add to all of that we've got some really big news...
But we can't tell you just yet... Keep checking back for a full spring update coming soon.
